William M. Koenig, JD, MBA is a Managing Director leading Ancora’s Retirement Plan Advisors team to support the Firm’s employer-sponsored retirement plan clients and plan participants. Mr. Koenig combines his background as an attorney with over twenty-years of investment advisory experience to counsel business owners and high-net worth families, providing customized consultation in areas including retirement plan design and implementation, investing, tax compliance, risk management and legacy planning.
Prior to joining Ancora, Bill practiced law for The Office of General Counsel, Department of the Navy in Washington, DC. His work included defending the Navy as a Trial Attorney in multi-million dollar, complex commercial litigation and government contract disputes. Bill earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration degree from the University of Mount Union and his Juris Doctor with honors and Master of Business Administration degrees from The George Washington University. Bill is admitted to practice law in Ohio and Washington, DC. He is a FINRA licensed registered representative and holds Life and Health insurance licenses.
